Where is Cedar by the Sea Located?

Our holiday accommodation is located at Normanville in South Australia
How do i book?

You can book via our Airbnb listing, the booking tab is located at the top of the website.
How many people can your home sleep?

We have four bedrooms consisting of a king bed, queen bed, double and single and a bunk room with four single beds. The house sleeps 12 people in total.
Are pets allowed at Cedar By The Sea?

At Cedar By The Sea, we understand that pets are part of the family and can make your stay even more enjoyable. Therefore, we do allow pets at our Airbnb property. However, to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, pets must remain outside during your stay. We have ample, safe outdoor areas where your pets can roam and play. We look forward to hosting you and your furry friends in our unique coastal escape.
Is there a Coffee Machine?

Yes, we offer a Nespresso coffee pod machine and some pods will be available.
Is the area noisy?

We are lucky enough to have a lot of land surrounding the property, so the home is quiet and secluded while still being very close to the main street.
Is there a cleaning fee?

A cleaning fee will be charged through Airbnb when you make your booking.
Does the house have Wifi?

Yes, we offer Wi-fi to all guests and password will be provided upon check in.
Are any toiletries included in my stay?

Yes, we supply toilet paper, hand wash & body wash. A washing machine is available to use, and detergent is included.
Are towels and Linen provided for my stay?

All linen is provided, including bedding, bath and beach towels.
Is there heating and cooling in the home?

Portable fans and heaters and provided for each room and split system air conditioner is located in the upstairs area.
How do i contact the host if there is an issue?

You can contact us through the Airbnb messages, as we are available to assist you at anytime during your stay. We endeavor to get back to you as quickly as possible.
Can i park on the lawn?

No, parking on the lawn is prohibited. Please use the two parking spaces under the carpark and street parking only.
Can we have access to the shed?

Yes, access to the shed is available. Please note there is a boat stored that is not available for use and please be sure it is not climbed in. There is a table tennis table available for use in the shed.
What is the max capacity for the house?

The house sleeps 12 people only. Please note- A maximum of 12 people are allowed on the upstairs balcony at one time, due to load limitations. For all events- These are to take place downstairs on the ground floor only. No parties are to take place inside the house at anytime.
Why does Cedar By The Sea have cameras set up on the exterior of the property?

At Cedar By The Sea, the safety and security of our guests are our top priority. To ensure a secure environment, we have strategically placed cameras on the exterior of the property. These cameras are solely focused on the outer premises, such as entrances, driveways, and common outdoor areas, and are designed to monitor any suspicious activity, prevent unauthorized access, and enhance the overall safety for everyone staying with us. We want our guests to enjoy their coastal escape with peace of mind, knowing that their safety is being looked after at all times. Rest assured, these measures are in place to protect your privacy and provide a secure and serene stay.
How do i book an event?

If you are interested in hosting an event at Cedar by The Sea, you can contact us via the website and we will work with you to assist you with your requirements.
Do you have to book the house to have an event?

Yes, the house will need to be booked out via Airbnb before an event booking can take place.
Can i have a party at the Airbnb?

There are to be no parties unless a pre-approved event booking has been made. Only the number of people on the booking at to be staying at the property overnight. Please note- A maximum of 12 people are allowed on the upstairs balcony at one time, due to load limitations.
What is Check in and Check out time?

Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am
Is there parking available?

We have multiple parking spots available in the driveway and along the road side of the house. Please note parking on the lawn is prohibited.
How does the house need to be left at checkout?

We would appreciate if all guests could tidy up the house upon checkout, including cleaning out the fridge, unpacking the dishwasher and putting all rubbish in the bins provided. Please make sure all personal items have been collected before checking out. The is no need to clean the house as your booking includes a cleaning fee.
